And some of our folks that we have supported this past year, have landed on their feet thanks to you all....and I would humbly say so have we.

The silver lining of all of this past year, was us being here....now serving an additional purpose. Your support still will help us continue to support the families that need help..folks that needed help even before any pandemic. We thought it might be a temporary program that we did to help sustain us and some deserving local folks who can use this help. But its is clear we need and want to keep this going with your help. We also want to be here if the winter brings new hardship.

Right now we soon expect to continue to provide for the remainder of 2021, meals that we send out each Thursday. And we will continue ...with your help. This program has been a huge success. If we have the means, we send as much food as possible, hoping it will carry them into the week too. A dinner like meatloaf or chicken parm including lots of sides like pasta salad , and green salad, fruit cups, cookies, mac and cheese and chicken fingers for the kids, and hearty soups for the week ahead and of course corn bread!! We are finding that there are way more folks in need than we knew about. Geesh you think you know your neighborhood, but at this challenging time everyone needs a little help.

The good news, is that now that we are open more, we can help feed these folks with much less help from you. The only cost that remains challenging is the packaging,..there is tons of it!! A family of 4 will have upwards of 30 containers along with bags and boxes. It gets pricey.

Our Support to Provide a Meal Program has made a lot of deserving families happy and given them a small respite during this challenging time. So thank you ...what a gift!!!
