About our Performers:
Hot FiddleViolinist, Ashley Liberty and Pianist, Daniel Strange have been performing together since their marriage in 2007. As a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, Daniel is always creating new and exciting multi-genre music for the couple to perform. Hot Fiddle will have you clapping along to bluegrass, snapping your fingers to jazz and sitting on the edge of your seat during 'Summer' from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Daniel puts a virtuosic spin on some great, classic pop tunes from the 80's and at other moments your mind will drift as you listen to passionate melodies, exquisitely produced on Ashley's 300 year-old Italian violin.

Ashley's violin playing has taken her to concert halls around the world. In addition to the Hot Fiddle show with Daniel, Ashley performs in the Naples Philharmonic and Miami City Ballet Orchestras. Her other work ranges from teaching private students to performing in a half-time Superbowl show with Shakira, as she did in 2020. She enjoys nuturing the youngest members of the family band, Summer who is 6 and Harrison who is 9. They both enjoy playing violin.

Daniel is an Assistant Professor of Contemporary Keyboard and the MADE (Modern Artist Development and Entrepreneurship) program director at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, where he directs the Downbeat Award winning American Music Ensemble. He is also the director of the award-winning high school All-Star Jazz Ensemble through the Community Arts Program in Coral Gables. Ashley and Daniel have performed with artists such as Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Mandy Gonzalez, folk legend Noel Paul Stookey, jazz icons Arturo Sandoval and Michael Feinstein, and violinist/composer Mark O'Connor.
They do many styles of music, but I picked this video for it's "irishness" of course :>)

What is a Big Barn Musical Dinner?
During the dreaded pandemic, we did five course dinners in our smaller barn with performances in between courses. It was silver lining and became a cool interactive dinner event that we all really love. So we decided to carry that spirit into the main stage to present unique perforomances and gather for a meal

How does it work?

Enjoy a five course meal in the main hall. After each course these talented artists will perform and enlighten you until the next course is served.
How this works ... You will be served a multi coursed meal tonight and after each course you will hear sleigh bells!!! That is your cue to put your forks down and quiet the room to be treated to performance. Something for everyone, and it is a unique way to experience all the SMAC has to offer.

Dinner is 75. 00 and includes

a multi course dinner and performace segments
(does not include tax, tip or additonal beverage)

Start Time: 6:00 on the dot! (doors open 5:30)
You don't want to miss a course or a performance!!!
