This program began as a way to support a few folks in our neighborhood who could use a free meal during this challenging time. After just a few months we were serving more than a few each Friday and we were going to need some help to do that. A typical Friday they would get a chicken pot pie, garden minestrone soup, pasta salad, fruit salad, garden salad, corn bread, brownies and mac and cheese and chicken fingers too..there are kids ya know! And extra soup for the week for those who need a little extra. We have made many deserving families happy and given them a small respite during this challenging time and we want to continue doing that. It also keeps our staff working !!!
